The participation of over 90 senior HR executives at our Best Practice in Emiratization Forum has requested Tawdeef Expo to also include the participation of the Emirati high-school students with whom organizations wished to directly engage to support their preparedness for the UAE’s future jobs.
Accordingly, Tawdheef 2020 has partnered with the UAE Ministry of Education in organizin 15 high-school visits on the third day of the event, which was widely praised by all the exhibiting organizations.
In 2021 – for the first time ever – we are relocating the dates of the Tawdheef expo to take place simultaneously on the same dates (27 – 29 October) next to its sister event the 15th annual Najah – a leading higher-education fair that hosts 150+ universities from 20+ countries around the world, and 16,000+ students, parents and schoolteachers & councilors.
Co-locating Tawdheef and Najah expos is a strategic decision that – beyond only meeting with the Emirati job seekers – organizations will also have direct engagements with the Emirati students to raise awareness about their respective industries and career opportunities available, and further advise the students how to best prepare academically.
"ADNOC participated at Tawdheef 2020 in order to source and hire Emirati talents for our 2030 smart development strategy and we have three different hiring objectives: the first one is the admission of high school graduates to ADNOC Technical Academy in order to train them for future technical jobs, the second one is for all Emirati students to apply and the third one is for Top high school and university graduates. The number of Emiratis who applied at our stand is very promising and we are looking forward to be here during Tawdheef 2021.” - Khaled AL Khoury, Chief Emiratisation Department at ADNOC
"EDGE Group was announced in November 2019 and this is our biggest participation at Tawdheef exhibition. We have 25 subsidiaries and we operate across 5 different industries. We have a unique and fun process to hire Emirati talents where we don’t rely only on resumes and applications, but we put the candidates through a personality test and a game to discover where he/she would fit best within the company." - Kahled Al Breiki, CEO of GAL – EDGE Group
