Al Masaood and Emiratization: Empowering UAE National Cadres in the Private Sector
Al Masaood Group is a strong proponent of the UAE Government’s Emiratization policies and initiatives as evidenced by its continuing close collaboration with public and private entities involved in the process. The Group believes that Emiratization is a vital component of the country’s socio-economic development, as such, it has been actively involved in honing the skills of UAE nationals across sectors that it operates in.
Due to the Group’s resilient efforts, we were recognized by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) as one of the ‘Best Emirati Employers in the Private Sector’ in 2018 and 2019. Also, we have achieved MOHRE’s Platinum Partner status in recognition of our robust Emiratization initiatives.
Al Masaood Group has crafted highly competitive professional training and internship programs for Emiratis within the organization. The empowerment of young Emiratis is of utmost importance to us, thus these programs have been designed to equip young Emiratis with advanced industry skills and knowledge. The Group also offers scholarships to Emirati electrical and mechanical engineering students, after which the candidates take up positions within Al Masaood’s various divisions following graduation.
To extend further support to the Government’s Emiratisation agenda, Al Masaood has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the MOHRE, with the objective of hiring young professional Emirati freelancers to work from home within the Al Masaood workforce, and has employed professionals with extensive experience in advancing Emiratis learning and skills development. Ultimately, Al Masaood’s goal is to nurture highly qualified Emirati executives to assume managerial roles within the organisation, and become an active contributor to the Group and the nation’s overall development. Emiratization is vital to the UAE’s future progress and Al Masaood will remain relentless in pursuing its success.
